The aliens have landed... and they're super cute and fluffy! Follow the steps in the pictures below or download our handy fact sheet for how to make them! Hover over the images for full instructions! By using a fork, you can also follow this technique to create a smaller Pom Pom. The only difference is that you must put a 10cm strand through the centre prongs of the fork before you begin wrapping. If the wool is slipping, try winding in a figure of 8 motion through the centre of the fork. Turn your aliens into puppets by attaching them to lolly sticks. You could create a space themed background. We used a silver pen to draw stars onto black card. You could even add sequins or glitter for extra sparkle. Why not use some of the pictures below to add features to you aliens? What other space puppets could you add to your theatre? We are going to have a go at making a rocket! Pop back soon to see how we get on! If you have a go at our alien puppets, we'd love to see what you create! Would you like to buy us a coffee? We believe that quality education is a human right and should be free for all, no matter who you are or where you come from. Our content is, and always will be, free for children to use and for you to share (please do credit us!) but it is not free to make.
If you do feel that you would like to say thank you by buying us a 'coffee' then that would still be very much appreciated. We will use any coffee money raised to replenish our equipment and improve the reach of our services to ensure that all children receive the creative education they deserve.
